Even a low in the low/mid 60's is too cool for me in the summer. Highs in the mid 80's to mid 90's, and lows in the low to mid 70's are ideal for me.
I greatly appreciate our stable summers, I need it after our wildly variable winters and springs.
Lows in the 60s don't cut it after a hot day. Not to mention we don't achieve such lows until well into the night and only for a few hours before a rapid morning warm up.
My ideal summer would have lows around 50 F/10 C and highs around 70 F/21 C with a mix of rainy cooler days and occasionally warmer 75-80 degree days.
On track for latest 90s on record with cool down into second half of June from what I can tell... jk... who knows but it's possible... topped out at 89. Tomorrow is last shot... this warm up was in reality rather an average run of the mill warm up, hell, normally may warm ups bring 90s... not this one.
Well it hit 90 today so I guess you don't have to worry.

I like lows around 15-16c or about 60f. That way it's stlll warm enough in the late evening to have a drink outside in shorts and a t-shirt or even go for a dip if the water is warm. I don't want to be wearing a jacket if I am out on a summer evening.
Had a nice downpour with occasional intracloud lightning.
