Record high: 4.8C (26th)
Record low: -19.9C (6th)

Lowest high: -13.6C (5th)

A very cold start to the year, but the rest of the month was very mild and uneventful. Little in terms or snow and rain. February doesn't look much better either.

This has been the coldest January since 1987. Hopefully February will be more pleasant.
