^^Nice pictures. Cambium has an eye for flowers!

Rozenn, you seem to be recovering nicely! Impressive images from the mountains, still snow up there.
We have some snow patches still surviving at 431 m asl in Trondheim municipality:
Vret p Skistua

My photos today is from the lowland near the fjord. Did not bring my DSLR, but a lighter camera. Finally some nice days, even 15 - 18C feels nice with the sun, and it seems 17 hours sun day does something to the vegetation.
Trondheim is actually ca 70 km from the coast (outer seabord). But the Trondheim fjord is large and deep (>500 m) and is our "central heating" during long winter nights.

Some political parties have started their campaign even if the elections are not untill autumn

Adrians house (Adrianstua), named after a writer who lived there.

something about the Norway coast landscape I like. Maybe it's cool climate coasts with mountains? Reminds me a bit of the Pacific Northwest or Atlantic Canada. That red house could fit in nicely in rural Massachusetts.

Most probably, I was on Comino last week while my Mum & sister were here & took an almost identical photo, but must have saved the photo from Twitter on my phone too & uploaded the wrong one. I did wonder why it came out bigger than my other pics...

I am also surprised at the snow in May in Scandinavia (Ariete also mentioned some in Turku) not long ago).

I actually saw snow in May for the first time in my life a week ago. Just a few very light flurries. And I have lived in this general area off and on for over 30 years.

That said this is probably the crappiest spring I have ever experienced.

Beautiful photos. Water seems to be flowing at a high volume. Snow melt or just rainfall?

Yes, we had snow during the evening/night between 9 and 10 May. It was cold enough to clearly make the grass white, but melted during the morning.

This is surely the crappiest spring I remember. April was the coldest since 1997 and May has so far been the coldest since 1995. That year had also one of the latest snowfalls in history, on Mother's day 14 May.

The 1980's had some cold Mays, but even adding them, Turku averages 2 or at the most 3 nights below freezing in May. This May we have had 8.

Statistically the next time for an April-May period to be this cold should be no earlier than 2050. So this is not anything even close to normal or even a bit below average, but a total disaster. I hope y'all understand that.
