So around town I've noticed Dogwoods in full bloom and Bermuda Grass already turn green. I believe it's due to the unusual warmth we've had this winter. Usually this happens around mid-march and it's only mid-February. Anyone else noticing this?

Then why even reply with a dumb response like that?

In Rochester, my lilacs are already budding so it would make sense that more trees would be budding in Nashville.

Atlanta is having pollen counts not typically seen til late March and I've heard that budding is starting already. Even in Lancaster PA I've noticed the trees outside my window with something on them but I'm not really sure what it is exactly.

Same here in Upstate SC , grass has been green all winter but turning greener earlier. The trees are starting to bud as well as sunflowers and other small plants.

Trees have been budding here for a couple of weeks. Cherry, blackthorn and a few others in the plum family are blossoming.

As I was walking around today, I noticed that some shrubs and trees are budding or blooming, the level of plant development here is at a level that is not usually seen until late March or Early to Mid April, and February isn't even over with yet, it concerns me that the plants that are budding and blooming because a hard freeze is in the forecast this weekend, but not before near record or record warmth and a possible severe weather outbreak tomorrow afternoon and tomorrow evening. I suppose that this being the warmest February on modern record here has confused a number of plants in Indianapolis and the surrounding areas of central Indiana.

Tree buds are really swelling here, and some spring builds are blooming, but I haven't seen anything actually leafing out yet, thank goodness! We've had temps in the 60s to near 70 for the past week, and a mild winter, so things are quite a bit ahead of schedule. Hopefully we don't get a repeat of 2012 when all the apple and cherry blooms were fried by a late season freeze!

Some trees are budding and a few are even leading in Norman, but most are still bare. We can get hard freezes well into April so it makes sense that it still mostly looks like winter.
