February was a little warmer than average, with slightly less precipitation than average (84 %).
We had no snow on the ground untill Feb 20., from then on continous snowpack. It peaked at ca 15-20 cm on the ground, even if Værnes AP did have 12 cm as max. Now ca 10 cm.

February 24-hr mean at Trondheim-Værnes was -2.5°C in 1961-90, and is -0.9°C using 1987-2016.
Trondheim-Lade recorded mean 0.2°C in Feb.

Bergen wettest and sunniest this Feb.

I know, what the hell?!?!? And then minimums below 0C, that's surreal.

In my dream climate that's like the record for July! Also in my real climate haha.

The 71F low was on Feb 28, so almost meteorological spring. The warmest winter min was 72F which occurred 3 times in December (twice in 2015 on Dec 26 & 27, and also Dec 3, 1982).

Winter lows here can be quite erratic. Jan 8 had a low of 19F, then two days later we had a low of 56F.

Wow, I didn't realize that lows above 70F are around record-breaking for Melbourne.

What I meant is (and I should have specified) that the record MAXIMUMS for July (our winter) are around 71/72F.

Highest minimum is 30.5C in Jan 2009, we've had a few this summer too around 20-25C.

A boring gaylord month with lots of gay ass lame duck low-mid 20's highs, failwhale low teens to sub-10C lows and no storms whatsoever, half of the month was basically the s**t you'd expect to find in the subarctic climates in southern Victoria thanks to endless southerly polar ass outbreaks
