Which of these three oceanic climates would you prefer?

Cork, Ireland

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cork_(city)#Climate

Gdansk, Poland

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gda%C5%84sk#Climate

or

Vancouver, Canada

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vancouver#Climate

I'll go for Cork for having the mildest winter of the bunch.

At least summer tries to make an appearance in Vancouver, unlike Cork. Gdańsk looks sad and lonely in the winter.

Vancouver is an easy winner. Gdansk is too cold, and Cork just doesn't cut t.

Vancouver for sure. Best summers and closer to some really good climates.

Definitely Vancouver. Gdansk's winters are too cold and Cork's summers are really just extended springs.

Also in Vancouver, you can go somewhere warmer or colder by just driving a few hours. Not as easy in Gdansk and definitely not a possibility in Cork.

Why do you always choose such horrible climates to compete with Vancouver? Is its climate that bad? You should've tried something like Bilbao, Hobart and Paris as the competitors.

Your climate choices make Vancouver look subtropical. Lol.

Gdansk is not oceanic.

I agree there. IMO Gdansk needs to have the coldest month have an average temp of 0°C or higher which is not the case.

Anyway Vancouver wins for having the better summer and winter than Cork.

Gdansk is really pretty mediocre, those baltic climates have long and moderately cold winters and their summers are really not warm enough. Thei March looks like our January and their June look like our April. Also, it really does rain very often. If I want a full-on oceanic climate, at least give me the southern coast of Britanny which will be milder and have more sunshine and tropical plants on the coast. Also, they'll probably have more interesting weather patterns.

Cork is way too irish.

Vancouver it is.

Gdansk's proper weather station is in Gdynia which certainly is milder:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gdynia#Climate

Vancouver wins because it has two months above 22C and a little bit milder winter than Gdynia/Gdansk has, but it sure rains too much then.

Dublin's UHI after some global warming could become quite reasonable, but the rest of Ireland is a climatic no-go zone
