82 with a dew point of 69. We had rain earlier, I got to see lightning for the first time since June (how sad). Currently overcast but very bright, the sun is starting to make an appearance.
Göle had a high of 30.9℃ today. This is the highest temperature of this summer.
(Göle is the coldest town in winter in Turkey but its averages are not published unfortunately)
while in town, a strong thunderstorm struck. Drenching rain out. store had a cover in front of it and two people leaving were disappointed the adjacent stores didn't. Made me think of Joe90. Usually would bring a rain jacket or umbrella if there's a chance of rain, but I had assumed it was done.
cold front passing through, last thunderstorm was around 3:30, dewpoint was 69°F at 7 pm, breeze made it feel like humidity was gone, but it's clearing slowly, supposed to drop into the mid 50s tomorrow
