I don't live too far from you, 100 miles, give or take, and it has been rainier
than normal for months and less sunny than a typical summer, nothing unheard of,
but definitely not like the average summer.

And yes not many hot days, I don't mind, not a fan of Texas type heat we sometimes get,
the extra cloud has meant milder lows, so it all balances out to being at or slightly above normal,
though with less sun, more rain, few heat waves, it gives the impression of a "cooler" summer.

Summer has been ok for me but I do prefer a sunnier, less rainy one we usually have.
Bonus this year, much less watering...still have to water my tomato plants and
the lawn a bit but not as much as other summers.

Cizre is 45.3℃ at 7% humidity @2:48 pm.

Cizre is always too hot in Summer. It never cools off during the summer.

It really sucks that Met Office only publishes the averages of Provincial Capitals. I am sure Cizre would have an average high in the hottest month no cooler than 41℃. There is no doubt about it.

And Göle, which is a town colder than Ardahan in winter but since these places are not Provincial Capitals, their averages won't be published. I am angry with the Met Office.

Thunderstorms came thru last night around 11-12 PM. Lightning was fairly frequent, but I didn't see anything that close range. I received 0.53".

60% chance of t-storms today with a high of 91F. Looks like there is already a little activity on the radar right now.
