Sounds like a lovely summer

Weather Bell's

Bastardi suggested Southeast may be reaching 100F+ many times this summer. Also, a lot of the warmer than normal temps for Midwest/Ohio Valley may be due to warmer nights as he stated. To me that means a wet summer with average highs not far from normal, but high humidity/dew points keeping nights above normal

I am in Philly and I absolutely DETEST and HATE the Summers we have here.

I am not surprised that southeastern Pennsylvania is once again in the "above normal" for heat. With the heat, humidity and bugs, it's going to be another hellish Summer.

Hopefully that means less SW winds and more S to SE winds for us. Our summer high temps stay close to avg but nights are really warm with winds off the southeast or south in summer and high dewpoints. SW winds bring some humidity, but not the really muggy nights.

I hope the Bermuda high parks itself off VA Beach and our winds are light and out of the southeast all summer. Perfect!!

I am here too, and avg high temps in the mid to upper 80'sF is not nearly as bad as places to the south of us or in the lower midwest say St. Louis or Kansas City. I was in KC last summer and it was close to 100F with much higher humidity than we would get here with 100F.

The only way we get 100F is SW winds, and they are less humid here than in KC with their winds right up from the Gulf of Mexico. KC actually was worse than I have felt in central FL in summer. It was awful.

Would be a miracle. I don't know how we are still showing signs for an above average summer after 6 of the last 7 years have been above average. Ridiculous.
