Would be a miracle. I don't know how we are still showing signs for an above average summer after 6 of the last 7 years have been above average. Ridiculous.
Really? Last year was the first above average summer since 2012 here.

Yup, 2009 and 2014 we had a below normal Summer so 6 of last 7 were above.
Including 2007, 8 of last 10 Summers were above normal here.
But 2015 was only slightly above. I'd call it "normal".

Not that I didn't believe you but I had to see it to believe it. WOW. WTF? lol
Have a feeling this summer wont be as warm as forecast by many
I see a flat line from 2005-2006 and 2010-2011. So we could be flat lining again on the chart with high demand.. But yeah, more chances of a drop as history has shown.
Ironically 2009 & 2014 were the only below normal summers in past 10 yrs. Cooler Summer = Less demand as chart shows.
This April has recorded about 90 hours of sun so far, and is well on course to surpass 200 hours, based on the forecast (average is 170 hrs).
It seems very similar (though cooler) to the Aprils of 2007 and 2011, which were the sunniest months of those years. Both were followed by shockingly bad summers, with record breaking rainfall and cloudiness. Hopefully that won't be the case this summer - we are well overdue a sunny one.
