A 73 F dew point here as well, but with an air temp of 86 F instead of 84 F.

High is supposed to be 88 F (31 C) today.

12pm its official for Hartford, Boston, Newark, NYC & Philly. Heat Wave #2 Maybe next one will have 100's?

From June 3rd. 10 days ago. Love seeing the future. I just hope we never control the weather ourselves. That would suck.

Hate to repeat it but looks like we have to wait until after the 10th or mid month for the real hot pattern to return. 9 days away now so we'll see.

Ridge goes from the Rockies this coming week and moves East each day and becomes this the following week. Heights rise to 585+ in the region

92 f / 32 c here now. Still doesn't prevent me from eating lunch outside.

Probably only because the humidity isn't excessive at your location; I feel that if the humidity was much higher at your location than it is today, with that temperature of 92, that you would be eating lunch indoors, anyway, currently in Fort Worth it is 88 F with a dew point of 72, this sort of weather pattern can go on like this for weeks at a time down here.

Ha, not age. Was comparing with a time from two weeks ago. Or last year. Didn't get sweat dripping into my eyes, though plenty of sweat. Would have been better an hour (or two) earlier). Lower sun angle, 60s is still better for running than mid 70s. Next time...

so yesterday had a high of 96°F and low of 63°F [closest unofficial stations had 66°F/96°F and 64°F/93°F]. So a mean temperature around 80°F; good reminder for indoor temperature and just general comfort, the daily mean counts more than the daily high. This broken station currently is reporting a dewpoint of 77°F and had a high yesterday of 101°F

more reasonable local station, 7 days of reading. No sudden heatwave, just day after day of gradual warming

Hmm, while the max is what spikes indoor temps I think I agree on the daily mean, but can be deceiving. Could be a coolish morning like yesterday in 60s but temps rise to 90s and spike indoor temp to discomfort. Mean wont show this, daily high will.

A bunch of factors including sun hitting roof, what color shingles are, shades closed or open, windows closed or open, insulation in walls, fans on or off, floor your on, humidty outside, wind, ect effect indoor temp.

I got my shades closed on south side in morning and west and north side in afternoon and evening. AC keeping things healthy and dry and low 70s inside

My boss just bought a house in a new development where they apparently planted lots of tall deciduous trees like linden. They'll chop them down in their yard will ask their neighbors to take their trees down too before they get too tall as they're likely to cast shadows on their precious house. Seems unnecessary in a mild winter / warm to hot summer climate, especially considering that they've planted deciduous trees.

I hope their neighbors tell'em to mind their own business.

Btw currently 75°F with a 67°F dp. Low was 71°F. Talk about suppressed diurnal ranges...

91 with a dewpoint of 70 at 2pm. Looks and feels like Florida with towering cumulus clouds.

My inside temp this month

Peak of 73-74F comes around lunchtime before the A/C starts kicking on. The big drop is from the AC on all afternoon and evening. Upper 60s by late evening during this heatwave. Looks like Averaging about 71 past few days?

And with Outside temp plotted. 80s/90s outside, 60s/70s inside.

Was warmer inside than outside last week. lol

Moving Southeast direction.

Looks like staying north of you. Maybe might get a little tail end action?
