B. Doesn't get warm enough in winter but is at least a little warmer than San Fran. A few months in the 70s is really nice so I'll give em that. Never really cold in winter which I like. Just wish the warm up was a little quicker. Still very livable.

It's like an upgraded version of SF year round

C+ because it has good high temps during 6 months but the winters are too rainy, and that means lots of cold winter rain and 8 months have too cool minimums, specially the summer.

Btw is a pretty nice climate, I can't understand the people who voted less than C

D-. Not good. Mild, rainy winters and cool, bone dry, thunder-less summers. At least it's (probably) sunny and temps aren't uncomfortable.

Well it's not a good climate for people crazy for snow, that's for sure. There'll be a bunch of cold rain in winter and I find that a detriment too, but at least it somewhat helps against the wildfire risk in summer.

However, the entire East Bay has very comfy temps year round and would surely be nice both in terms of low heating and cooling expenses over the course of a year. Here's a lesser known East Bay climates:

(an odd July drop because it gets more of SF's fog then but still very similar). I like that consistency in the East Bay climate, as long as in front of the hills towards the ocean it doesn't change much like it does all the time in SF.

Its a good climate, but Mexico City or Comitan, Mexico would be better IMO:

D from me. Summers aren't perfect but they are pretty good. Winters are too mild.

C-

Winters too long and cool. Summers are comfortable, but still may feel cool.

D+. Add 25F to the highs and 15F to the average lows for every month of the year and it would be an A.

I think San Rafael is the best Bay Area climate, Redwood City if you prefer drier (and less lush)
