You do realize that I don't hate old people and that was just a sarcastic quip at your idiotic anecdote right?

Anyways, I don't respect people simply for being older than me. Respect is earned, not given. I see many middle aged and older people out with bad manners, bad mouthing customer service employees, cashiers, etc. Those people don't deserve respect simply for being my "elders". Very rarely do I see "millennials" making a huge deal over small things like I see middle aged and older people do all the time at grocery stores, gas stations, etc.

Likewise, I know many respectable and awesome old people as well, and old people who are very kind hearted and sweet. Those people have all my respect, but I'm not gonna respect someone just because they're 60

Anyways, this is way off topic. I wonder when Seattle will hit it's first 75 F or 80 F this year?

One whiff of that winter gloom and you will see why.

This one (old person) is certainly glad to have escaped the gloomy, cold, wet weather.

Never again.

That is gross. I loved my visit to the PNW back in 2010 and never breathed fresher air but it's too cool for much too long.. no no no. I mean you could never really swim there the water would never get warm enough unless it's an indoor pool. Best coffee, however I've ever had. And I'm not talking about Star bucks!

Respect isn't earned just by being alive for a certain number of years. It is earned through their actions, values, and the life they live.

I once saw an old man driving the wrong way on a busy road. Stupid old coot must have been around 80 and looked like he had no idea where he was. What a bloody lunatic.

Likewise, old people annoy me. Lots are fine, but the vast majority are rude and are a large part of the reason why our country is in a mess now

It's never happened. Also, they predicted above average June and July. The average number of 86F is 10 per year and the minimum is 1 in 2011.
