Countries which Russia DON'T have good relations with = anything that is west of it!
Well, Finns weren't filled with racial hatred like the nazis, invading a country with millions of women and children, not a good idea.
I hear you, but to be honest, between the financial crisis and Crimea it was a tough sell for politicians. Many people actually believed that a large-scale war in Europe isn't possible anymore.
But now almost all NATO members are stepping up their commitments. Better later than never.
That's not necessarily true, Russia also has good relations with many places in Latin America, especially with Argentina. Russia has worse relationships with Western Europe, but Russia doesnt really have a military interest there. There is no need to be afraid
The US will cover for them, so that's okay? This kind of freeloader attitude is what's rightly annoying the US.
And it's rarely a case of being just 0.1% below, often they're nowhere near the target.
The smaller countries can be useful allies when you consider how many there are.
No. These countries are too small to defend themselves so rely on other countries to do it for them. How do you expect a country like Estonia to stand up to Russia?
Of course, the US is not obliged to care at all, but the point is that these countries are never going to offer much militarily, so getting upset that they're not meeting a completely arbitrary target seems silly imo.

They're still part of the alliance and agreed to the 2%. Estonia actually did meet their obligation, to their credit. Sure, individually they can't do much, but if you're part of the team, you should be making the minimum contribution. That's the whole point anyway since a country like Estonia couldn't stand up to Russia alone.
Even Greece of all countries have paid up despite their economic woes. No excuse for anyone else not to. As I said, cumulatively it adds up.

Well, fine - your bumbling idiot of a president should withdraw the US from NATO. Simple as that. Enough complaining, more doing.
The uses some accounting tricks to get the numbers up, but it's within the rules and other countries do it.
