That's what I got. I don't even give a s**t anymore, this could be an underground syndicate employing illegal workers for all I know. Most of the people out in the field looked like criminals and drug addicts. There were plenty of European backpackers aswell, they probably don't know any better, and if they quit, they breach their visa and as a best case scenario will get kicked out of the country. The house where I picked up the pay from was almost a carbon copy of the one in this article: Fruits of their labour: Investigation into exploitation of migrant fruit picking workers in Australia

The guy offered me a planting job when I went to pick up my chicken feed. He can **** himself with a cactus.

How the **** could you only get 14 dollars for two days work!? Minimum wage has to be at least $7 or $8 an hour.

The standard wage for horticultural work here is $22/hour. In practice however, these are almost non-existent. Piece rates are the norm, and these are well below minimum wage in my experience. The legal minimum wage in Australia is A$17.70/hour, equal to USD 13.32

This is likely a dodgy syndicate. Google "truth of fruit picking in Australia".

It's not worth the trouble. I just want to move on. Live and learn. You discover some ****ed up s**t when you get out there.

I had cloud ceilings probably under 1000ft today, first time I saw any proper overcast in months! Lots of rain aswell, more in the last 3 hours than over the last 3 months. Very much needed. Dewpoints hit 20C aswell. Looked and felt like the highlands of Malaysia (well after months of clear skies and dry heat).

Is your airshow only on Saturday or is over the whole weekend?

Exactly. Most identify as Russian, and Russia needs that warm water port, it was probably the key factor behind the annexation.

I am really pissed off at how sensitive the TSA is with booze in here. ****ing bull****, that even if you buy it in the Duty Free, they only allow you to bring like one bottle. Why the **** do you care if I have more than that? What if I want to enjoy something like pisco or good wine which you can't find in the US?? Bunch of ****ing pricks

They had that warm-water port already. Sevastopol was leased to Russia until 2042.
