The standard wage for horticultural work here is $22/hour. In practice however, these are almost non-existent. Piece rates are the norm, and these are well below minimum wage in my experience. The legal minimum wage in Australia is A$17.70/hour, equal to USD 13.32

I had cloud ceilings probably under 1000ft today, first time I saw any proper overcast in months! Lots of rain aswell, more in the last 3 hours than over the last 3 months. Very much needed.
