Did you do hard liquor or beer? Beer is good for beginners, especially Angry Orchards which essentially just taste like apple cider lol.

I'm not keen on encouraging none drinkers to take it up. It's a decision you should make yourself. It's enjoyable if used moderately, but some people struggle with moderation for various reasons, and it can ruin their lives.

As Razza said, it's a personal choice. You shouldn't do it just because you feel pressured to.

I'm not a fan of cider. Too sweet. Beer beats cider any day.
