No I don't, I'm just saying sh*t? Really? the most uncomfortable I have ever been with weather has been in Croatia in December and Corfu in July, now that's what I would call sh*t but even then at least the weather didn't 'kill' me (whereas it can quite easily in some parts of the world), sh*t? I don't think so, what that guy/girl came out with is simply bad stereotyping, this site is full of it, and its because of that 'bad stereotyping' that many tourists are woefully dressed when they visit the countyry, its because of that 'bad stereotyping' that I here the same thing from just about EVERY foreign person I've worked with, they all say 'hey the weather isn't bad here after all' (and because of my job I've worked with dozens). I don't 'really care' as you put it but it does seem that I am not allowed my own opinion - the reason - because as this site proves you simply cannot fight with 'stereotypes' because its 'stereotypes' that make people the other side of the world such 'experts' on countries they've never even set foot in.
Thanks of the heads up. I'll bring the coat when I am in London in late August .
NOAA will update quite a bit and will change accordingly before Tuesday. What I found is that weatheronline doesn't change or hardly changes. Your local NOAA office produces those forecasts based on the local meteo's stationed there. Those forecasts are not created in Washington DC. NOAA local offices know their locale and the nuances of the climate there.
Tuesday was downgraded from 87 to 76. That's a huge difference. Weather channel never had such high temperatures in the first place. I still believe, they are the most accurate for here in the long range forecasts. NOAA has more accurate sun/rain/cloud/fog forecast.

NOAA is excellent three days out imo. Beyond that they rely on model runs blindly it seems. I've seen downgrades like that for here 5 to 7 days out. TWC is not as accurate 1 to 3 days out because they are not locally based such as our local NOAA offices. That's my take constantly viewing all of them in every season.
Temperature data is not stereotyping though. As Dean stated most of the world (literally) would find low 20's high temps with low sunshine levels not very summer-like. But I guess some people like cooler summers.
I don't agree -I work with plenty of people from warmer climes, as well as having most of my neighbours from overseas, and while will they will say that their home summers are warmer, they don't refer to summers here as springlike, or a non summer.
