If subtropical climate means oceanic climate ( low seasonility throughout the year), then, any temperature can be subtropical.

Um, no they're not. You have any idea how cold Central and Eastern Turkey is in winter? The winters in this climate would be among the warmer ones in Turkey.

More than half of Turkey has temperate climates (warm winters). The rest has continental climates.

Check climate data for some Turkey major cities (such as Istanbul and Izmir). Their winters are warmer than the winters in this climate.

You're completely ignoring like 3/4th of the country lol. Look at places like Ankara or Kars or Erzurum and then tell me these winters are colder than Turkey. Please.

Izmit and Istanbul doesn't somehow represent all of Turkey's climate.

I'm not saying that all Turkey has warmer winters, but an important portion of it. For example, "atzisat" lives in Kocaeli province, its capital, Izmit, has warmer winters.

You said "most of Turkey". Which is blatantly inaccurate.

According to the map, "most of Turkey" hasn't really cold winters.
I'm just saying that these winters are not as warm as atsizat says.

Winters in Erzurum, Ardahan and Ağrı are colder than winters in Chicago, Minneapolis, Milwaukee and Toronto.

The grand majority of Turkey has cold winters. Especially higher elevated central and eastern areas, which can be down right bitterly cold. I think you're letting the "stereotype" of Turkey being a warm country affect your view too much.
