This thread is finally getting interesting. Reporting snow in sea level locations and in large cities, as opposed to mountain resorts.

Really surprised that Santiago would get snow, since it lies towards the Pacific Ocean. I'd expected such conditions in Buenos Aires or Montevideo. Interesting.

Also it snowed in Mendoza (4th largest city). Photos upcoming.

Formosa at midnight 25ºC, right now: 10.2ºC. This is type of drop off they gonna feel down there in S. Brazil.

SMN HAS JUST CONFIRMED, BARILOCHE HAS A NEW ALL TIME RECORD LOW OF -25.4C.
THIS IS INSANELY COLD FOR THEM

The 5 coldests record lows from Southern Hemisphere outside Antarctic now are :

1° Balmaceda = -28.3C
2° Perito Moreno = -25.7C
3°/4° Maquinchao/Ranfurly = -25.6C
5° Bariloche = -25.4C
