That first bridge-photo looked really inviting, Nei, would like to walk across that bridge.

Impressive photos by Rozenn. A few of them reminded me of mountain areas in Norway. Are Ibux common in the mountains there?

Yeah ibex are really common. I was surprised by the amount of ibex and chamois up there! We saw dozens.

Plenty of Chamois in the hills around here as well -actually a type of Antelope.

Took a trip to the Poconos this weekend.



Driving into Jim Thorpe, PA. This town was named after a Native American Olympic medalist...bit of a controversial history behind all that, but still a charming town nonetheless.

neat looking town; definitely more packed in than New England towns. First row house doesn't look American with the color of the stone.

western US mountain goats might be similar to alpine ibex. In Washington's Cascades:

Yeah, didn't realise the US had anywhere that looked like that. It has a very old world feel to it.

Jim Thorphe looks beautiful, I like that style. Small, old towns in the North East seem the best the US has to offer. York, Pa also looks nice from pictures.
