Our climate won't change, it just seems to go back and forth between each decade
To make matters worse by the time you and I go bye-bye from this planet I'm sure Lund will have a 25.0/15.4 July or something like that London scraping by in the low 24's and Wrex in the 22's having started only narrowly behind Lund in the 1950's (a degree or so)
The tap water in Malta is fresh water stored from the rain (as I don't see any dam) or it's sea water maded "unsalty" from big plants like it happens in Fuerteventura or Lanzarote?

Some is taken from groundwater boreholes, but most is from desalination (reverse osmosis) plants, so there is never any shortage of water here, despite no reservoirs or any lakes or rivers. There are a few seasonal streams & the man made 'Chadwick Lakes' which fill with rain during the winter however.

interesting thing
i've saw those pics on Google while searching for "Chadwick Lakes" and damn, it reminds me soo much of the landscape in winter a bit inland (not much) near Altea, as here also it's green on winter. We have in a couple of places those things too, although those were left when the big dams were maded, but still you can find them in some places and when it rains they even go above the concrete thing.
Here we have many of those natural "fountains" as there are lots of groundwaters, besides this pic is taken on winter too, in summer they carry water but with very light power and the smaller ones dry up.
Oh, how it tastes the desalination water? It has to be quite awful, right? In the Eastern Canary Islands the people have 100% of their tap water by desalination so they all drink bottled one.
Although I've readed that the desalination water is not bad for cooking, is that right?
