I'm using a station that only goes to 1998 which is fine cause I was only 6 anyway.

Quick guess is June 2013. Part of the wettest summer we had on record.
Only made it to 93.
Avg high was only 86.
Mean temp was 77.
Avg low was 68 which is a tick above. Not surprising given how much rain we got.

And I was wrong. It was actually 2003.
Only made it to 90!
Avg high was 84 which has actually happened a few other years.
Mean was 74.
Avg low of just 64

Early 2000s were actually fairly cool in the highs department. 99-2005 has June with an avg high of just 85. From 2006-2016 that jumps to 90 with only 3 years lower than 89 (86,87, and 88)

June 2003.

Average high 80 F / 27 C, average low 60 F / 16 C, mean temperature 70 F / 21 C.

Warmest temperature of the month was 90 F / 32 C, recorded on June 25 (first 90 of that year)
Coldest temperature of the month was 46 F / 8 C, recorded on June 2 and 5 (the 5th was the last <50 of early summer)

Not a very good "summer" month.

Sounds like a survivable month for a Scandinavian though I've experienced some 26/13 months myself but with lower humidity obviously! Still without an AC unit it's a bit of a battle

The warmest June I've experienced was last year, approximately 22/10, although 1992 where I lived was definitely at least equal although I was too young of course. We don't have a representative station here so I have to do guesswork based on Norrköping which is in a relatively similar inlet position.

All in all June tends to have very narrow average ranges but crazy high/low ranges. A bit of a weird month on these shores.

2017 so far is my coolest memorable June so far.

2009 was my last memorable cool June. It was only the 20th coldest on record.

2003 was 11th coldest but I don't remember that one.

That December looks like a textbook warm but not very hot summer month down in Oxelösund ten miles nearer the open sea

I'm sure it was very comfy!
