For Paris it's December with 41.0°C (17.1°C/-23.9°C).

For Nice it's February with 31.6°C (25.8°C/-5.8°C).

Largest in France would probably be Mouthe in January with 60°C (19°C/-41°C).

Among large cities it must be Clermont-Ferrand in February with 56.9°C (25.9°C/-29.0°C).
