Lol Im a Sox fan and they sucj this year. Speaking of Southside, MDW hit 95F today (ORD 94F, IKK 92F).

I think warm and humid nights are more common. All you kinda need is clouds for that.

Alright, shoulda warm nights + hot days are rare. Usually high 80s means lots of sun which equals cooler night. So maybe not breaking any min/max records but daily mean?

Does this Sept have a shot of having an high average max temp than we had in Aug? As of yesterday the average max was 78.2F at ORD and 78.5F at MDW. August had an average max of 80.7F at ORD and 80.8F at MDW, and along with May, the only 2 below average months here so far this year.
