Hows foliage? Thanks to the dryness and cooler temps first half of sept. We are progressing faster than ive ever seen. I think its mostly due to the dry weather though that really is causing trees to have brown leaves rather than a great show of color. Id still say color is to a minimum though, still no where near peak we will see probs if weather stays warm in November , or we will just slowly wilt away through October.
A few trees are starting to turn orange and brown and drop leaves. It's ahead of last year, but we still have a ways to go for peak foliage. We had a wet August, a dry first 2/3 of September, and it's been wet since then.
This weekend the Rocky Mountains rise again....I mean the Jet stream rises north in the West and well north into Eastern Canada.
Models backing off the cold idea next weekend now in the Northeast. This is why. The Rocky Mountains shrink again as the Jet stream digs down in the West again. We'll see.
