It's coming I promise lol, it's dropped into the upper 40s here.
Heading for a high of 55° today and dropping to a low of 39° tonight.
Unfortunately for me, fronts like to stall near the coast and this one will do just that. So I wont have those refreshing below normal temps BUT will be back to seasonable levels at least after tomorrow.
Wish I was in Iowa but I wouldn't mind being in Alabama right now.
I see why that front is stalling near the coast. That damn Atlantic Surface High Pressure!! The same one that gave us endless days of dry sunny weather last week is blocked from pushing further east so the front is slowing down because the High isn't moving fast enough.
Funny how 1 feature can bring awesome weather but the same feature can ruin things too. lol
It sure does! This pattern screws over New England, but seems like heaven for the south.

Snow showers flying north of the UP Michigan
I saved this image calling it "Vermont warmer than Georgia"
and wow @ the Santa Ana winds. 94°F at 5 AM in Orange County. Big Bear at 6750 feet is 36°F, perhaps a frost hollow. Wrightwood at 5900 feet is 54°F. Ontario Wrightwood difference is 40°F or 6.8°F / 1000 feet, slightly higher the dry adiabatic lapse rate
