Yup... and Bridgeport one of the warmest stations as well which is most likely a water factor. unless they had some clouds or a breeze which prevented further cool down. I'm at 38°F... waiting for that sun to check frost.
Here's the loop with Infrared Satellite and Metars to see who's reporting what. 3am-6:40amEST
The "?" icons are "unknown precip" which most likely is sleet or a mix.
Funny. Halloween was pretty much around or below freezing here and it didn't feel all that cold to me. I mean it felt cold but it might as well had been the 40s in my eyes. The day prior was slightly warmer, stayed in mid 30s most the day but the wind was wicked and it felt colder. We might get snow today. Lets see if any sticks.
Lol, when I woke up this morning, the weather observation was light snow at the Indianapolis airport, I saw little or no accumulations, not even on the grassy or elevated surfaces, I was not expecting any accumulation given the recent warm temperatures and the fact the ground is likely still warm.......
Write Ardahan, see weather stations in Ardahan Province and compare the lows between Ardahan and Göle throughout the year from the link like I do. Will you do it like I do? Throughout the year?
Göle is a district in Ardahan Province and all districts in Turkey have weather stations. Main weather stations for districts are in the town centers of districts.
There are actually 3 official weather stations in Göle.
One weather station is in the town center of Göle. That is the main weather station for Göle, which I talk about. Other 2 weather stations are far from the the town center but still inside the district of Göle. Those 2 are not main weather stations in Göle. They are 2 villages of Göle, which are far from the the town center of Göle.
Main weather station in Göle is for the town center of Göle, which I talk about.

Bridgeport was at 42°F, a lot of Long Island around 39°F; a couple NYC stations 47-48°F, so a heat island effect of maybe 6°F?
Whites got massive flooding btw. Trails are a mess; lots of roads closed. Near Conway, NH. Highest elevations got 6 inches and a lot of rain from the previous storm
here's the precipitation totals for northern New England. Whites and nearby western Maine had the most rain
