Climate battle York v Brest France

I choose York for being slightly warmer and sunnier in summer, as well as being much drier.
Brest is similar to Cornwall, except Cornwall is sunnier. Neither are good however.

York for sure - less maritime than Brest, although it could be wetter.

I wonder how nearby Ushant would fare against subpar British climates. It really has a sad climate, never reached 30°C:
