Nothing at all. I live in the perfect climate. That's why I moved here.

In SOME years August is warmer than May? Where do you live?

Where I live, August is positively the hottest month.

I hate the humidity (I sweat a lot...any time it's over 72 degrees, pretty much...I hate to sweat), and the heat (altho it's not that hot, it feels super hot because of the humidity).

I hate how there is no winter here.

I live in a subtropical climate.

It's different to here: Bradford only averages 1265 (realistically it's probably slightly more because of the hills, but still), but we've beaten that every single year so far this decade. Winters are quite a bit sunnier (or less dull) %-wise than they used to be.

Same deal in Balt/Annapolis. I remember getting higher snowfall totals and several more snowy days as a child, and the statistics bear that out. Snow lasted on the ground longer too.

My father remembers from his childhood that when the lake effect snow fell in the very northeastern corner of Ohio in early December, it would stay on the ground until April. It would be black, brown and grey in layers because of all the factory soot and cars, but it would be there.

Maybe the Heathrow station changed equipment or moved sites ? The change is abrupt.

Something drastic seemed to happen to the atmosphere in 2007. The UK had the wettest summer on record, and summers have generally been worse ever since, 2013 and 2014 were the exceptions. The climate system appears to be going through a period of instability that has so far lasted a decade. Whether or not it will recover remains to be seen.

That being said, temperatures have generally held up, cloud has been the main issue.
