It's warmer, on average, in SF in September and even October than it is in June or July.
A strange climate indeed.
Aparently set a new record yesterday with at 106F high...which is about 44C,
if the winds are right coastal Califiornia can get really hot ,
kinda similar to how Melbourne can get very hot days too.

Yeah, it's like a cooled-out and dried out Ponta Delgada on the continent Even there, October is cooler than July and that's smack dab in the middle of the Gulf Stream on the same latitude. Just shows how weird San Fran really is.
Lots of NIMBYism here towards a Sonic (drive-in restaurant) being built, on a commercial strip across the street from a fckn mall.
I honestly don't get why some people oppose literally everything, you'd think it was being built on a quiet residential street.
I think NIMBYs are stupid, but these must be NIMBYs with a good taste, since let's be honest Sonic sucks ass. It'd be better to put up a trendy Thai restaurant there
NIMBYism is rife here as well. Better to call them BANANAs - Build Absolutely Nothing Anywhere Near Anyone. Almost always old, Tory and living in rural areas.

It's just the point. How does a business going in an empty space affect them in any way? It isn't my community so I don't really care, just confused.
Lots of people prefer open spaces. I like my open spaces.
