Did some driving around the neighborhood today. The leaves/color survived the rain better than I expected.

Nice! Love that Snowmobile sign.

So we got a big storm coming Sunday on the anniversary of the disastrous October 29, 2011 snowstorm here. Had it been snow this Sunday, it would be been another disaster.

30% of leaves still green. 65% color. 5% bare

This hasn't happened much this month (3x's) but needed today. Max temp only 56°F (which is normal) but no sun. Chilly inside.

yep. you recognize the name from my photos? That was exactly two weeks ago. I was there around three weeks ago, and it was close to peak then. Last weekend was faded in most higher elevation spots some lower spots were still good.

Here's a few photos around my neck of the woods, mostly at Spencer's Gorge, Dundas,
including Tews Falls, a view from Kerncliff Park down to the Burlington Skyway and Lift Bridge.
Lastly Downtown Burlington Spencer Smith Park.

I'm using fireplace this morning. This is the first time I can recall using it in October. Burning some oak wood.
