Mexico City for being the mildest and most similar to Sydney.

I voted for Ottawa and did not expect to see it that far out in the lead. I'm sure that's due to it being the only cold weather climate with the warm/hot weather climate vote being split by the rest of the cities.

Give me winter or give me death!

Ottawa of course for being the only true continental climate (and actually an A climate) out there (don't say me that D.C. is not subtropical please), with of course Washington D.C. in second place. The other ones are meh or bad.

I'm really shocked that people (most in this survey so far) prefer a climate that the average low is below freezing for 6 months of the year and the yearly mean temp is 44F (6.6C). Especially when there are several of these cities that have a near perfect climate every day of the year.

One thing is for sure, you guys that love to drive on frozen roads and to shovel your driveway for multiple days in the winter, you don't have to worry about me competing with you for land.

Also, spent some time in DC and that climate really sux too imho.

Yes, I do like to do that stuff. Especially shoveling = great back and cardio exercise while enjoying winter scenery and cold crisp air

Ottawa in fact, is still too mild.

Ottawa easily. Solidly cold and snowy winters and pleasant, but not too hot summers. Didn't even bother looking at the other climates.

I'm surprised Washington isn't doing better. I figured it would be a relatively even split between it and Ottawa among the cold lovers. I thought Ottawa would be too cold for many but apparently not.

Tegucigalpa is an amazing climate. I give it an A- for summer-like temperatures year-round but with enough variation to keep it from being monotonous, and the good precipitation levels and pattern. It would be an A+ if the summer lows were around 20ishC and the sun totals were slightly higher.
