Preliminary data for August - this could change if the missing data for Aug 23 is provided. There were t-storms in the area that day (quite heavy were I live) so the rainfall amount would probably go up.
The month of August was a good bit cooler and much wetter than normal. I got 15.21" in my gauge, with 8.23" related to Hurricane Harvey.
I e-mailed NWS LCH about the missing data, and unfortunately it looks like it won't be provided. The rainfall total may be at least an inch understated at AEX looking at radar estimates...

Although Richmond EWS does seem to get quite a bit higher results than surrounding sites.
