How wide (miles) is the eye right now, East to West?
It got down to around 10 miles for a while. Now with it going over land the storm will start to look more ragged over time. If forward speed can stay slow it will stay over land even longer to help drag it down.

Key west got lucky , many of the other keys not so much from what I am hearing on shortwave
It's gonna be a rough boat ride. Here is what to expect.
It's gonna be bad no matter what. It's not gonna change much from the track, but a few miles east or west will make a big diff for many peeps. I expect the worst for my area as far as wind and damage and even worst just east of my area. But not a surge prob or flooding as this thing is gonna pick up speed and i don't seee local rainfall amounts being super crazy. This storm won't hang up and stall. Once it gets past our area forward speed will really pick up. 4 core hours of the worst for everyone then it moves away fast and winds come down fast. One hour will really be like the end of the world as the eye passes over rover.
It ended up not bad at all where my mom is which is about 50 miles north of Tampa. She said it wasn't even worth taking video. A lot of leaves down and small twigs in her immediate area, so east clean up.
