I just read this article which talks about the impact on other islands but makes no mention of florida besides key west. What impact will hurricane Irma have on florida? Will it hit FL as a cat 5 or will it weaken? And is it supposed to hit all of FL or only the west coast?

It could be really devastating or it could just be a bad storm. No way of knowing yet.

Check Irma thread in the Hurricane sub-forum for updates

Is the path of the hurricane over FL known yet? Because the map in that article is confusing.

No, the precise path won't be known until ahout 24 hours out.

Here's a map of some model outputs (possibilities) for the storm:

I know it's way ahead, but a possible long range had this thing still as a hurricane into OH and WV?

After the disaster we had here in Dayton with Ike in 2008, I'm gonna keep an eye on this thing. I have never looked at tropical systems the same way after that one

Based on the current forecasted track it looks like it *could* potentially make landfall to the same area that Andrew did 25 years ago. The only difference is the path is somewhat different. It's going from Northwest and then North / Northeast wheres Andrew was a straight shot West over the Bahamas.
