At this rate are we even gonna get a frost this year? Haha but I guess I'll predict October 27th. As for first freeze I'll say November 5th.

Pittsburgh had their frost frost October 1st, but I had my first freeze in the burbs that morning. Dropped to 31. September 30th was my first frost. Doesn't look like we will see snow this October, which is a bit unusual. Usually we get 0.4" so usually at least one or two mornings with a dusting or coating.

Where I live in northern New England, we had 2 frosts in late Sept, with temps down in the 20's at night. This is a little bit late for us, but it's warmed up again now.

We're supposed to get our first frost around October 28th, but it seems to be more like the second week of November. We sometimes turn the heat on in September, but that hasn't happened this year. It was near 80 yesterday and we had a week of 90's at the end of September. I've never seen anything like it. Either way, the garden comes out today
