Yup, early than previous yrs.. I did not expect it all. Didn't think I'd drop below 40 but its a reminder frost can happen in upper 30s. Posting some more photos in Fall Photo Thread on ride to work.

According to observations it got down to 33 degrees Monday night. However, my house is about 100 feet higher up than where my town is so we probably did get down to 32 up here. So that would mean that we got our first official frost here on October 17. Quite a bit earlier than I was expecting, I thought the warm weather was gonna stick around until the tail end of the month without any breaks!

That would be considered a freeze. Congrats. Maybe even had your first frost and freeze on same day? Did you happen to see frost around yesterday morning?

Also, How many times did you have lows from 33-38F this season? Those would be the other times frost was possible.

I'm guessing the first half of december, but I'm hoping for the first half of november.

It will likely happen on november 29th or something.

We've only had a couple of sub-10c lows so far this fall, so patience is needed.

No freeze here yet.. Places down south got one before me this yr. I'll post the min temp map in few days. Let this current cold air mass in place do its thing first.
