Yuck. Can’t deal with hot humid summers and damp cold winters.
Colorado for me. Loads of sun and tremendous unpredictability. Can be 60 and sunny in January or cold and snowy in April. Most importantly, it’s dry.
What's great about Montreal is they have an underground city of connected pathways, plus the Metro (subway).....you practically don't have to go outside in winter.
A climate in which people avoid going outside for an entire season sounds like a pretty grim climate!
I moved from MA to FL, got tired of the endless Summers that FL had to offer,
then moved to the mountains of Western North Carolina this past Jan.
So far so good, 4 seasons, with mild Winters, time will tell.
I prefer these "four seasons" states over Illinois, Michigan, New York, etc...
