Disorganized assortment of stuff from the first week of January. Mostly from the Montreal/Lake Placid trip, few from home as well (try to distinguish).

Probably the last ones for this season unless it gets cold again. Weather has been warm **** for the past month or so (though still much better than Austin or summertime).

Before shoveling 15":

After:

Snowshoeing in the middle of a frozen lake in -36C "wind chills":

Ice skating in -24C. Ice was too firm.

And here's a tree from out first snow on Dec 9th. Temp was +1C.

That's my favorite of the bunch. Awesome shot. Wow at the temp. You must of been prepared with the gloves, shoes and clothing then. Thanks for posting.

Just Ugly & Brown middle of February. Lots of clouds and rain lately.

A warm front lifting to the north this afternoon, stalls over Massachusetts, then pushes back south as a cold front late tonight into Friday morning with more rain

Feb 18, 2018:

Snowstorm dropped 7" in 7 hrs yesterday evening and this morning was so beautiful with the sun shining on the snowpacked trees. Within 6hrs it was all gone from the trees.

Snow was crashing down here and there.

Heading to the beach

Starting to turn spring like here.

I think these trees were blooming on Feb 5 last year.

Still a good number of bare deciduous trees.

Grass is turning greener.
