This question of course is for those that have actual seasons...or maybe you lived in an area once before with them.

"Acclimatization is the process in which an individual adjusts to a change in its environment (such as a change in altitude, temperature, humidity, photoperiod, or pH), allowing it to maintain performance across a range of environmental conditions."

Curious how fast your body adjusts. Not sure how to use an example though because there's so many variables and senarios. Is it consistent max temps, min temps, sky cover, ect. ect..

So lets use a general rule...

If its Mid April and you're used to Spring conditions and all of a sudden its constantly Summer like temps how long before you're body adjusts to the Summer conditions?

Vise versa in Fall. If its October and you're used to Fall conditions and all of a sudden its staying well below normal more Nov-December like, how fast to acclimate to winter like air?

After 6+ months of 90's and lows around 80 i can adjust to colder temps in a heartbeat.

Probably around 2-4 weeks. I'd expect those that live at more northerly latitudes acclimate faster with more temp variations and such.

I’d say 2-4 weeks, but for cooler temps only, I don’t need acclimation for warmer temps.

Also, I never fully acclimate to the winter conditions around here. Sunshine and calm winds are essential for me to feel any semblance of comfort outdoors in the winter, unless temps are runnng above normal.

Depends, when it's dry out i adjust just fine. Make it humid and it's much worse, summer or winter.

Funny how I can acclimate to temps but not humidity.

I can never seem to get used to dews in the 60s no matter how long they last.

Do you guys get used to humidity after a while or is it just different vs getting used to the seasonal temp changes?

I've gone from some quite large 24 hour climate changes over the years, and think the body adjusts to different temperatures and humidity, within a day or so.
