Hello everyone.

I am kind of new here. I recently made an account, but I have been lurking for a month or so. I have taken a liking to this section, and I decide to research more climates as of recently. Though I want to know if there is a climate that matches my desires exactly. I don't plan to move there, so don't worry about the location too much, just the climate data itself. So here is what I like.

1: I want guaranteed snow in the winter. Nothing too extreme though or too little.
2: A cold to even very cold winter is good. I wouldn't mind something that is somewhat extremely cold, as I would adjust and I like cold more than hot. Though anywhere where high temps go under 10F on average is a bit much.
3: I don't mind cloudy places with light rain, but I really dislike thunderstorms in general. Not a fan. I can deal with lighter thunderstorms with less frequency. So basically I don't want a stormy place. Also no hurricanes either.
4: When it comes to summer I would take either pretty hot and dry, or mild to warm and a tad humid. I don't like it when it gets to like 90F+ with high humidity, but I don't mind 90F days if they are dry.
5: Sunshine is somewhat of a tossup. I don't want too much of it, but I want some.

So basically just name places that sound something like this. Because I'm trying to find my A+ climate atm.

Welcome to the forum.

Your preferences are almost exactly the same as mine, with the only difference that I like thunderstorms because where I live they're extremely rare. But yes, thunderstorm usually mean high temperatures and high humidity, and just like you I don't like that.

Here's some climates I really like, all Dsb:

I would say that Sjenica in Serbia is good climate for you as far as I realize from what you wrote https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sjenica#Climate

What are you think?

For the United States, the Inland West is what you are looking for.

Salt Lake City, Boise, Denver, Billings, may all be good options.

Yeah I have seen mostly A climates listed, which is good. I don't mind a humid summer as long as it is like New York City's level or lower temperature wise. I am going to probably do a fantasy climate of some sort.

That's another great climate in my book.

So basically you've described the eastern portion of Whatcom, Skagit, and Chelan Counties in Washington State. The amount of snow, winter cold, and summer heat can vary quite a bit from town to town as elevation changes, so you'd want to choose carefully. Washington State gets the least amount of thunderstorms of all 50 states, and is somewhere near the bottom on amount of tornados. You'll also find acceptable climates to the east in parts of northern Eastern Washington and the Idaho Panhandle and possibly some in the northern portion of Western Montana. After that you run into tornado weather.
