So a Bombogenesis is when a storm drops its pressure by 24mb within 24hrs. That's intense when that happens. Doesn't happen often..


This storm dropped 59mb!!


38mb in 12 hours!


That..is...crazy.


but how is WPC getting 951mb?? I saw 958mb at best. Was there a Buoy or station that showed it? Did they fly into the storm?

1400 mile path of snow from Florida to Maine. Glad i put "multiple states" in thread title 2 weeks ago. Lol
This storm was nuts.

Just saw this on TWC for Charleton, SC.
Also they're about to have their lowest temp since 1989 i think.

Yup. Its on my top 5 for sure. I prefer these NorEasters to Lake effect any day. Islip got 5" in 2 hrs this morning. I think they ended up with 16"!. I'll do a total recap tomorrow
