I still see a cooldown to mid-50s in the NYC area for May 3rd and beyond. You see something different?

Heres the latest Euro data for NYC. Looks like starting May 1st that ridge builds in so should heat up. But even next 7 days looks near normal, maybe slightly below. No more highs of 40s.
Rain Wednesday then not much precip after that.
Also note the surface temps shown here are for that time, not the max or lows.
