Interesting, as someone who lives in the Fraser Valley I would say that the year of 2017 (at least where I am) felt like a Continental Climate because of the above average snowfall in February but the average temperatures seem kinda mild. It reached above 32°C for a at least a few days and there was a time when it was -18°C with a wind chill of -25°C.
Now that we are in 2018, I’d like to see the average freezing rain because I’ve seen at least two ice/freezing storms since Christmas.
I’d give it a B- because summer was too dry and the forest fires were bad
You guys got hammered in February. I recall hearing reports of 80cm in three days out in Chilliwack..
Both C- for me - not great climates, but wet enough and cold enough during winter to ensure fantastic skiing close by, and a summer that is reliably warm and sunny.
