Wonder if all that hot lava spilling into the ocean is having some effect? Either way, cooler water anomalies disappearing so we should get confirmation La Nina is done soon.

Just bring back the one from 1997-98 where i had 35" of rain in 4 months. The last so called super EL Nino was a dud for my area.

Lets hope its not like either of those yrs. The Pacific getting that warm will spike global temps hard and we'll have to be plastered with those headlines again.

Lets first get to a neutral state then worry about Nino if it does happen.

If a Modoki El Nino does develop, odds increase of a cold snowy winter across the eastern 2/3rds of the US

I can just hear the forecasts being made. lol. Many things might support it this year. Nino, Volcano, low solar, QBO, NAO. We'll see.
