Why has this polar vortex been hanging out south for so long? I've been told climate change is causing the jets to go out of whack, and just hangout southward. Which causes this.

^^^^^^^^^

From what I’ve heard, some biased scientists have claimed that we are on the verge of experiencing a dramatic plunge in global temperature because the sun is so low in solar output.

Lol, it looks like the Midwest is set to bear the brunt of this winter seasons arctic outbreaks, I for one will be glad that I will be in Subtropical Texas and not borderline soon to be subarctic Indianapolis I hope you have lots of firewood stocked up for this winter because I saw a local forecaster in Louisville was predicting a brutal cold and snow filled winter for your location

Single digits and teens Fahrenheit in the coastal regions of the northeast. Cambium's got to be in cloud 9 tonight, lol. Especially after that really warm start to fall the eastern US had.

Not used to leaving Thanksgiving family and being so cold outside. Wow! Feels nice though! 24°F

I don't think we experienced this before. Maybe 1980s as some records showing up? But maybe not on Thanksgiving itself?

High Pressure overhead now. Radiate time.

6:45pm temps and a NW flow. Wow. Re-lighting stove

Feels like
3° in Hartford
5° Danbury.
6° at the coast in Bridgeport. Impressive!
