as of 236 PM EST saturday: the back-door cold front has essentially
stalled near the Savannah River as it can't seem to make any
progress against the westerly flow and warm temps over northeast
Georgia.
Beautiful day. Forecast to be "cold" and rainy tomorrow. We'll see if that one misses just as bad.
The sun actually exists in Southern Ontario this morning. Peaks of blue sky and sun visible here that have been sorely missed over the past 2 weeks. One can only hope that the pattern we've been in since the start of the month can break down a bit for the region.
Turned out to be a picture perfect winter day! Sunshine with snow on the ground
4" of snow yesterday in KC. More snow falling right now with 1-2" forecast overnight. More coming on Tuesday too. Remarkable weather pattern happening right now.
Season total is roughly 22", ~3" above average (for full season, not just "up to this point in the season)
