It's not! Your statement assumes that man made global warming is a fact. It is a propagandists dream. My home town is no hotter than it was in the 70's on up. It's basically the same place only more crowded with liberal minded twirps who think the sky is falling.
I don't trust the weather stations, the cool ones get dropped from the data, and they place many of the rest near ac exhaust vents on hot roofs, hot airport tarmacs, etc. It's been proven.

Born in Tampa. Still in FL. Our winters have warmed up so much since 1990 and just the last 7 years have really ramped up. Only 2 cold winters since 1990 and that was 95-96 and 2010. Before that we had plenty of cold weather. Something has gone wrong.
Not much of a difference. We had really hot summers in 1987, 1988, and 2012, but no real change. Averages are 82 and 60 in late July, 27 and 14 in late January. Many of the record highs were set >100 years ago. Many were set in 1934 and 1936.
About 5 degrees warmer in summer and about the same in winter.
