To me, it actually looks like this summer will only be average to slightly average this summer. The only real exception is the PNW, and I believe that it has had some pretty hot summers the past few years.
Man, I hope I don't have to experience a day like that for a while.

Light rain 105 miles offshore from me in 475ft of water. Looks like all the rain will just miss me to the south all day on Tuse. Be lucky to get .20" while a 150 miles to my south could get 1.5"+.
Ardahan is not -15°C like Google shows. Turkish State Meteorogical Service says -9°C for Ardahan.
