International Falls: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intern...nesota#Climate
Ufa, Russia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ufa#Climate

In my opinion, the best combination of humid continental climate.

The only thing is that Ufa has a better precipitation distribution.

International Falls has a better precipitation distribution for me, because it probably has less snow.

And that is the main reason why I will choose International Falls. It's very close, though.

This race is a really tough call, but I think I’ll go with international falls for being a touch wetter.

Int'l Falls for being a bit colder. Went there last January and it was great!

Ufa seems good too. I have one friend from South-central Bashkortostan and she tells me it is snowy and hilly.

It may be more humid east of Ufa towards the south of the state.

Too bad there are no sunshine hours data for International Falls. But for the latitude, Ufa should be less sunny, surely the first should pass the 2000h.

There sure are a lot more Russians living in cold climes than Americans, which is perfectly illustrated by comparing these two. Population of Ufa over a million, Intl Falls, 6,000.

Logical. Although it reduces the difference of the Canadians, Siberia has one city with population above the 300 thousand (Yakutsk), in the north of Canada this does not happen. Edmonton hardly gets to be the center of the country.

I picked International Falls, MN because it was a bit colder, slightly more precipitation, and less average humidity. Ufa definitely doesn't look bad though.

I think that's the most exotic place I've ever heard of anyone having a friend from.

Anyway, I like Ufa because it looks snowier and a bit warmer in the summer.
